Well, the short version…I create. I make mistakes. I create more. I swear a lot. I listen to anything from Classical to Hip Hop. I love, love. I'm happiest in nature. I dance. I travel. I read. I eat a lot. I love wine. And I create some more.

The long winded version... As far back as I can remember I have always had a strong desire to create and make things from Scratch. When I was a child I made clothes for my dolls and was absolutely obsessed with my Easy-Bake Oven, jewelry maker, and Play-Doh. In my adult life, I started a fashion brand called MarshallNash in 2011, specializing in women clothing. Success did not come at my expected rate. Bummed with the rate of my success and tens of thousands of dollars less in my bank account, plus student loans, I decided to go back to the drawing board. While revising my plan and shaking some things up, I realized I hella love fashion, but I love the creative process more. To get back to the basics, I started DIY'ing and got addicted! Taking raw material and creating something useful gives me indescribable joy. I enjoyed it so much that my idea of Friday night fun was showing up at a friend's house with wine and craft supplies. I really loved the energy of people creating, laughing, listening to music, and drinking a little wine together. That energy gave me the inspiration to start Scratch, craft workshops to bring out the artist in anyone.
