THOSE WHO CAN CREATE, TEACH...

On August 3, 2015 I taught my first Scratch DIY class! I was so excited (!!!)…but also filled with nerves and a little bit of anxiety. This was my first time teaching and I wasn't sure how students would react to me; I now have such a greater appreciation for all my former professors and teachers. It takes a lot of courage to stand in front of people and guide them through a lesson. So yeah, I started off uber nervous, but after the first couple of steps and engaging with students I felt more relaxed and comfortable teaching, *ehem* the wine helped a little too.

We created printed tile coaster sets, by transferring an image on to the tiles. Everyone had so much fun and we’re really happy with how their project turned out. I got tons of feedback so my next class will be flawless!

I’m looking forward to teaching my next DIY class on Sept. 11, 2015, water color mug sets here we come!
