YOUR ROOM DESERVES THIS HANGING BRASS HIMMILE AIR PLANT HOLDER

There isn’t one room I can think of that doesn’t deserve a plant. However, if you’re anything like me you’re thinking plants require maintenance and I barely have time to take care of my succulents. Well, this Hanging Brass Himmeli Air Plant Holder has solved the problem! It can go in any room you choose and guess what?? Most rooms already have the main ingredients air plants need to survive, AIR! Air plants require less maintenance than succulents. Amazing, I know! Just  a couple spritz of purified water every week or so and it’s ready to grow! So, follow the directions below to give your plant-less room what it deserves. Get the supplies you need here!

Materials:

  • 3 Brass Round Tubing 1/8″, 12″ long
  • Gold Wire (18 Gauge)
  • Gold Chain (0.6MM Thick) As long as you want it to hang
  • 2 Small Jump Rings
  • Baby Air Plant

Tools:

  • Tube Cutter
  • Wire cutters
  • Ruler
  • Permanent Marker

Instructions:

  1. Measure your tubes using the ruler and marker. Measure 9 3" tubes and 3 2 ¼” tubes.
  2. Cut your tubing using the tube cutter. Clamp the cutter down and rotate around the tube where you want it cut. Tighten the clamp every few rotations, by twisting the knob, until you cut through the tube.
  3. Thread your wire through 4 long tubes to make a square. Twist the ends to hold in place. Clip excess wire.
  4. Thread 2 long tubes with wire and cut wire leaving some excess wire. Repeat.
  5. Cross the wire between the tubes and twist (This creates an X shape).
  6. Connect the ends of the wire to the points of the square. Wrap the wire around the wire joint to secure. (This creates a pyramid shape) Clip any excess wire.
  7. Thread 2 small tubes with wire and cut leaving some excess wire. Repeat with the last long and small tube.
  8. Cross the wire between the tubes and twist wire (This creates an X shape).
  9. Connect the ends of the wire to the bottom points of the square. Wrap the wire around the wire joint to secure. Clip any loose ends.
  10. Open the jump ring enough to loop the chain and top of the Himmeli (larger end of the pyramid). Loop the other jump ring to the end of your chain. Tighten openings of jump rings.
  11. Gently place your air plant inside the holder ensuring it rest securely.
  12. Choose a room to hang your air plant and hammer the ceiling hook into the wall or the ceiling. and Voila! You're ready to hang!

Place your air plant securely in the holder, and Voila! Now you’re ready to hang your air plant and add some life and style to any room!
